What does International Women's Day mean to Clever Dog?

International Women's Day:

This post was written by Sarah Feldmann, co-founder of Clever Dog Creative.

Strength, compassion and growth: this is what International Women's Day means to me. Today is the 105th anniversary and we simultaneously celebrate all the advancements we've made, while acknowledging the continuing struggles of other women who are still breaking barriers today.

From winning a Pulitzer Prize to joining the Presidential Cabinet, we've taken huge strides to close the gender gap and break those barriers. Those accomplishments have paved the path for women such as myself and my business partner, Lyssa Schmidt, to not just dream of someday working for ourselves, but literally create a company! We've been fortunate enough to grow and expand over these last two years to even assist others - both men and women - in their dreams, and as a women-owned business, I feel so privileged to be part of that.

Today, I want to say thank you to those who've helped make our dream a reality. I pledge to continue finding ways to help others turn their ideas and ambitions into something tangible and real, aiming to give back in the same way many have given to us.
